DESCRIPTION:Join local committee members from the Association for Project Management (APM) at this special networking event.\nFollowing March’s successful visit of APM’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Adam Boddison to Guernsey and Jersey, the APM Channel Islands committee are following-up with our next series of events.\nOn 9th June, networking events in both islands are being held to bring together project professionals, industry, political, civil service, and education leaders to meet the committee members and discuss raising the standard and profile of project management in the Channel Islands.\nThe events are informal and designed to connect those interested in following-up on the March events and for those generally interested in the project profession.\nOver networking drinks and light refreshments, attendees can speak to local committee members to understand APM’s priorities and actions underway in Guernsey and Jersey. A short 5-10 minute update will be provided where we update attendees on:\n\nWho is APM?\nThe local committee and ways to get involved.\nCross-sector collaboration opportunities.\nLocal project management apprenticeships.\nQualifications, training, and accreditation.\nAPM membership.\n\nEd Mason-Smith, Acting APM Chair in the Channel Islands said: “We are delighted to welcome anyone interested in the project profession to these two informal events.
