SUMMARY:Prosperity 24/7 supports Ukraine with cybersecurity event
DESCRIPTION:As the Russia-Ukraine war continues, the world is on heightened alert and cybersecurity attacks are a very real threat.\nOnly last month, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) called on businesses to “bolster their online defences” from potential Russian hackers.\nTo help Directors and Business Owners understand the reality of the threat and the risk it has put upon business, Prosperity 24/7 is inviting them to attend an event at the Pomme d’Or Hotel on Friday 29th April.\nProsperity with be joined by Mike Norbury of Islands Insurance who will share some of the cyber events they and their Insurers are seeing first hand. Additionally, Islands Insurance will outline the insurance markets response and the actions that they expect organisations to take, to limit their exposure to increasing cyber threats.\nAlso joining the event will be Prosperity’s security partners, Arctic Wolf and Tessian, to introduce the benefits of systems they have developed to mitigate the dual risks of cyber criminality and human error.\n100% of the £10 ticket price will be donated directly to the Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal to help support innocent people in Ukraine.\nChris Clark (pictured), CEO of Prosperity 24/7 commented, “The cyber risk organisations are facing right now is higher than ever before.  If you are not cyber resilient, now more than ever, is the time to take an in depth look at your security systems.  Unfortunately, the technological effects we are feeling here from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is nothing compared to the humanitarian crisis being felt by the people of that country, we are pleased to be able to support them and the Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal, through the ticket sales for our event.”\nFriday 29th April, Golden Apple Suite, Pomme D’Or Hotel\n\n07:45 – 08:15 – Registration and Networking breakfast\n08:15 – 08:30 – Welcome and the current situation – Chris Clark, CEO Prosperity 24/7\n08:30 – 08:50 – Islands Insurance – What is cyber risk? Prevention is better than cure\n08:50 – 09:10 – Arctic Wolf – Addressing alert fatigue and too many tools for the job\n09:10 – 09:30 – Tessian – Human Layer Security\n09:30 – 10:00 – Panel Q&A and close\n\n
