DESCRIPTION:Jersey is all fired up for a strong senior Inter Insular this weekend!\nA super Saturday is in store for Jersey Hockey this weekend as the Seniors prepare to go stick to stick with their Guernsey counterparts again, when they welcome three women’s and three men’s team to the Island.\nThere was nothing to separate the two Islands when they last came head-to-head at Senior level back in November, with a couple of enthralling Senior matches resulting in draws, so both Jersey and Guernsey will be working hard to deliver some exciting inter-insular action and get their hands firmly on the silverware on 19 March.\nThe action will commence at Claremont Field on Saturday morning from 9.30am, culminating in the both the Ladies and Men’s 1st teams battling it out at Les Quennevais later that afternoon.\nCommentating on this highly anticipated weekend of hockey, James Wetherall, President of Jersey Hockey, said: “We’re really looking forward to a great day out and are guaranteed to have a fantastic crowd of avid supporters cheering us on.
