SUMMARY:Family Nursing & Home Care’s annual Colour Festival
DESCRIPTION:Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) are excited to announce the comeback of the charity’s annual flagship fundraising event, the Colour Festival, after a brief Covid induced hiatus.\nThe annual FNHC Colour Festival event involves a 5km run through five colour stations where participants are showered with vibrant (environmentally friendly) coloured powdered paint. The event is open to families, corporate teams and groups of friends and promises a fantastic day of fun and fundraising for all islanders, giving you the chance to get colourful for your community.\nAll money from the Colour Festival funds our Paediatric Palliative Care Worker (PPCW). This role, which provides respite for families with life limiting and life threatening illnesses, allows children to achieve their goals and have the same experiences as others whenever possible. We embrace the emotional, physical and social aspects of the life of a child with additional needs and do our absolute best to enhance and maximise the quality of life for both the child and their family.\nBy taking part in the Colour Festival, participants enable the terrific work that FNHC does to support Jersey families through respite and hospital visits, providing continuous charitable and emotional support.\nFNHC CEO Rosemarie Finley commented: “The Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) Colour Festival is our flagship fundraising event and an incredible experience for all those who take part. We are thrilled to be able to host the run this year and are hugely thankful to our sponsors Jersey Electricity, Snap Digital & Design, Stonehage Fleming, Steve Philips, Dandara and Appleby for their continued support. We urge all of the Jersey community to sign up and take part.”\nDandara, Jersey Electricity, Stonehage Fleming, Appleby, Steve Phillips and Snap Design & Digital are FNHC’s sponsors for the charity’s 2022 Colour Festival Event.\nRosemarie said: “We are extremely grateful for the valuable support of our Colour Festival sponsors: Dandara, Jersey Electricity, Stonehage Fleming, Appleby, Steve Phillips and Snap Design & Digital. It is thanks to the generosity and support of our amazing sponsors that we can continue to provide expert care to the community and fund the FNHC Paediatric Palliative Care Worker role for another year.”\nOpen to families, corporate teams and groups of friends and promising a colourful day of fun, there are still tickets available to purchase and get involved.\nEvent Details:\n\nLocation: St. Helier Beach (Opposite La Fregate)\nCheck In & Warm Up: 09:30\nColour Festival starts: 10:00\nColour Festival blast: 13:00\n\n
