SUMMARY:Climate change forum for financial services directors
DESCRIPTION:Opportunities for financial services companies to develop new products and services linked to climate change transition will be the topic of an upcoming workshop hosted by environmental consultancy ESI Monitor in association with the GTA University Centre.\nThe session will facilitate ideas and knowledge sharing between senior leaders in different sectors of the finance industry and open conversations about how future products and services can be tailored to support action against climate change while also enhancing business’ profits and resilience.\nThe event will be held on 3rd February 2022 at the GTA University Centre and is ideal for director-level individuals within legal, investment, banking, fund, and advisory businesses to attend.\nESI Monitor Managing Director Marc Laine said: “It is a common misconception that environmental impact minimisation is exclusively a compliance and corporate social responsibility matter. This event is designed to break that assumption and empower senior leaders to return to their businesses with the knowledge and appetite to inspire development of new products and services to enhance businesses and their clients”.\nGTA Chief Executive Simon Le Tocq said: “We are excited to partner with ESI Monitor on this opportunity for Financial Services professionals to talk candidly about how they can help to combat climate change. We hope the session will lead them to consider how they can act more sustainably and champion the development of new climate-orientated products and services. Working with innovative companies like ESI Monitor the local industry has the opportunity to lead the way in sustainable financial services. The GTA is proud to be playing its part in facilitating training here.\n\n
